Hires Paul Rivet as National Director of Sales; William T. Murphy as Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Senior Account Executive; Joel Ste. Marie as Western United States Senior Sales Engineer

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Total Computer Group (TCG) today announced the appointment of three senior sales executives to expand its customer network to reach law enforcement agencies nationwide. The three strategic hires have a combined total of over 50 years of experience in the technology and law enforcement industries.

The dynamic team of sales leaders in the law enforcement industry will focus on educating police, fire, and government agencies on new technologies available from TCG. Its premier product, Total Enforcement (TE) advances the ability of officers on the street to benefit from recent innovations such as Microsoft.net and can be used in its entirety in a wireless environment. Currently operational in almost 20 municipalities in New York, the new sales force will look to increase awareness and adoption of its system nation-wide.

About Paul Rivet, National Sales Director

Leading the team to maximize sales volume and transform market position, Paul Rivet joins Total with over 18 years of experience in the technology and public safety sectors. Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Rivet was general sales manager for Niche Technology, where he grew the Canadian law enforcement software company from a small boutique to a player within the industry.

Mr. Murphy joins TCG with more than 35 years of experience as an expert in law enforcement technology systems from practical usage to complex implementation strategies. Mr. Murphy previously served as acting president and senior vice president of sales of Oklahoma City based Global Computer Systems. Mr. Murphy is a retired Nassau County police detective specializing in the fields of organized crime, homicide, and narcotics with strong relationships among the industry leaders. In his new role, Mr. Murphy will be responsible for driving sales in the law enforcement community in the Eastern United States. Mr. Murphy will report directly to Paul Rivet, director of sales.

Based in Spokane, Washington, Mr. Ste. Marie, with over a decade of experience in law enforcement technology, is responsible for establishing a presence for TCG in the Western United States. In his most recent position, Mr. Ste. Marie held the position of director of sales engineering at VisionTEK Inc, a Colorado company. Prior to that, Mr. Ste. Marie held similar positions at Aether Systems. Mr. Ste. Marie draws on his experience as a reserve police offer in Bellingham, Washington to incorporate practical knowledge into his sales pursuits. Mr. Ste. Marie will report directly to Paul Rivet, director of sales.

On his new position, Mr. Ste.
